Fractional ownership

Shared private jet ownership at Astrajet gives you all the advantages of having your own private jet, but at a fraction of the cost. Key advantages include guaranteed availability, short call out time (four hours), low hourly flight rates and consistently high and reliable service. Fractional ownership suits frequent travellers flying more than 50 hours per year who demand reliability and don’t want the variable service levels of the charter market.

Purchase cost: Aircraft shares range from 1/16th for 50 hours per year to 1/2 for 400 hours per year. Shares in the Hondajet are typically £250,000 – £300,000 for 1/16th share (50 hours) depending on the age of the aircraft. Contract terms are between three and five years, after which the share can be sold at market value.

Monthly service fee: There is a monthly service fee covering a portion of the aircraft fixed costs (insurance, maintenance, hangar, crew) and this starts at £2,000 depending on the aircraft and hours purchased.

Flight fee: Fractional owners fly for a low hourly rate (compared to the charter market). A typical flight from London to Nice would cost around £7,000 (or £1,750 per person assuming 4 passengers) plus landing fees.

Locations: Aircraft based at Farnborough, Biggin Hill and Luton (coming soon).

Jet Card

The JetCard is ideal for those flying around 25 hours a year. There is no capital outlay required, simply purchase 25 hours upfront at a preferential rate. The hours are an all-inclusive rate including all costs with the exception of the landing/handling fees.

Cost: The cost of a jet card starts at £125,000 (for 25 hours). We do not charge positioning charges on any flights to or from the aircraft base.

Locations: Aircraft based at Farnborough, Biggin Hill and Luton (coming soon).
